Lead and build Radical Numerics' biosecurity function: set strategy across detection, surveillance, and countermeasures; translate model capabilities into operational products; engage governments and global stakeholders; drive partnerships, hiring, and external communications; and operate with high ownership in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.

Coordinate end-to-end recruiting and candidate experience, maintain ATS pipelines, track hiring metrics, and run day-to-day office operations for an in-person team (~25). Manage vendors, office buildout and furnishings, onboarding logistics, team events, and ad-hoc operational projects while partnering with leadership to scale hiring and workplace systems.

Lead global discovery and acquisition of high-value biological datasets (genomics, multi-omics, imaging, clinical). Build relationships with researchers, hospitals, biobanks, and pharma; prioritize datasets with internal scientists; negotiate data-sharing and licensing agreements while addressing regulatory, privacy, ethical, and IP issues; and maintain a pipeline of strategic data partnerships.

Lead product development to turn frontier biological AI research into usable products. Translate ambiguous scientific capabilities into workflows, run user research with scientists and biosecurity partners, define specs and demos, prioritize features with engineering and research teams, and drive launches and go-to-market strategy for bio design, genetics, pathogen detection, and related platforms.

Work with scientists and engineers to translate genomics, biosecurity, and biological AI research into accurate external- and internal-facing documentation, policy briefs, blog posts, and presentations. Build documentation infrastructure, support model release materials, and help craft communications for government and public audiences while ensuring technical precision and responsible messaging.
