Operate and maintain seed processing equipment and orchard operations for genetically improved Southern Pine seed. Support grafting, CMP, cone harvest, recordkeeping, equipment maintenance, supervise orchard staff, collaborate on SOPs, budgets, and production goals while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Assist with production of forest seedlings by implementing irrigation, fertilization, and greenhouse cultural programs; operate Argus environmental control systems; monitor seedling growth, perform pest and disease inspections, and maintain records. Role is physical, on-site, and may require shift work, weekends, overtime, and occasional callouts.

The Nursery Manager oversees nursery operations, managing staff, financials, production, and safety to ensure sustainable seedling production. They lead a team to achieve targets and enhance customer satisfaction, promoting environmental stewardship.

Operate and maintain greenhouse and irrigation systems, implement crop prescriptions (water, fertilization, climate), monitor seedling health, perform pest/disease inspections and IPM applications, keep accurate records, supervise and train seasonal staff, and support inventory and equipment maintenance.

Assist nursery operations to produce quality forest seedlings: manage irrigation, fertilization, climate control (Argus), pest monitoring and control, recordkeeping, equipment maintenance, and supervise/train seasonal workers. Provide administrative support for the Brownlee nursery, managing safety, logistics, AR/AP, inventory and data collection. Coordinate processes for seedling inventory, QA, and financial activities; support Nursery Manager and regional staff while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
