The role also mentors junior editors, supervises editorial work, and manages projects while working onsite in McLean, Virginia, at least three days per week.

Supports communications and equitable community engagement for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Coordinates public meetings, open houses, events, outreach, databases, correspondence, presentations, newsletters, and informational materials. Assists project managers with schedules, budgets, work plans, purchasing, vendors, client relations, and reporting. The role requires reliable travel throughout Puget Sound, evening and weekend availability, strong writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate technical information for diverse public audiences.
