Coordinates integrated marketing and communications campaigns across digital, social, email, web, paid media, and traditional channels. Responsibilities include content creation, publishing, campaign reporting, vendor and budget coordination, database maintenance, transportation project communications, public inquiries, event logistics, and community engagement. The role collaborates with account teams, designers, strategists, engineers, and media partners while managing multiple deadlines.

Oversee the editorial lifecycle for high-stakes transportation documentation, from outlining through final online and web publication. Responsibilities include substantive and technical editing, fact and reference checking, copyright compliance, adherence to agency style guides, quality control, and transforming complex engineering information into authoritative documents. The role also mentors junior editors, supervises editorial work, and manages projects while working onsite in McLean, Virginia, at least three days per week.

Supports communications and equitable community engagement for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Coordinates public meetings, open houses, events, outreach, databases, correspondence, presentations, newsletters, and informational materials. Assists project managers with schedules, budgets, work plans, purchasing, vendors, client relations, and reporting. The role requires reliable travel throughout Puget Sound, evening and weekend availability, strong writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate technical information for diverse public audiences.
