About the Role

PRR is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Integrated Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support the execution of integrated marketing and communications campaigns for agency clients, internal initiatives and community engagement for major transportation projects. This role supports digital and traditional marketing, content creation, social media management, email marketing, paid media administration, campaign reporting, database/correspondence management and data-entry for real-time traffic tools.

The ideal candidate has experience creating engaging content, managing digital channels, coordinating marketing activities, tracking performance metrics, completing detailed tasks and supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment. This position works closely with account teams, designers, strategists, engineers and media partners to deliver effective marketing and communications programs.


Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing

  • Create and coordinate digital marketing content across social media, web, and email channels.
  • Manage content calendars, publishing, and day-to-day social media engagement.
  • Coordinate paid media administration, including placement documentation, vendor communication, and budget tracking.
  • Monitor campaign performance and contribute to reporting and optimization.
  • Support marketing campaign execution by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and collaboration across teams.


Community Engagement - Transportation

  • Support a variety of transportation projects in the planning, design and construction phases and report completed tasks to project managers.
  • Enter weekly road closures into statewide database accurately.
  • Maintain databases to track contacts, events, and correspondence.
  • Draft responses to public inquires and support tracking correspondence deadlines.
  • Research, write, and publish accurate construction and transportation design related information through a variety of channels.
  • Learn and convey project information and key messaging to the public at in-person events (evening/weekend meetings, community events).
  • Coordinate and manage materials, presentations and logistics for in-person and virtual events.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or digital marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience managing social media and digital content.
  • Familiarity with email marketing and analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative work platforms.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency experience.
  • Experience supporting public-sector, nonprofit, healthcare, transportation, or community-focused campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, GovDelivery, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Experience with paid media coordination, insertion orders, invoice tracking, and budget management.
  • Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.


Compensation

The salary range for this position is $31 per hour, allowing for future compensation growth within the range based on aptitude in the role, context, progress, and performance against goals over time.


Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be expected to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends for community events; including, but not limited to, standing or sitting for extended periods. The employee may have to occasionally lift/push/pull over 30 pounds. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and to drive to and from project sites and events. The employee will regularly operate office equipment.
