Provides emergency and non-emergency patient care under medical director protocols. Requires ongoing training, professional conduct, reliable attendance, and physical ability to perform job duties.

Supervises EMS operations across multiple shifts while performing paramedic duties and direct emergency and non-emergency patient care. Responsibilities include deployment readiness, crew and vehicle audits, staffing, documentation review, equipment management, compliance enforcement, crisis response, dispatch coordination, and employee accountability. The role requires local travel between stations and field sites, operation of ambulances, and flexible availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.

Manage purchasing, inventory, and distribution of medical supplies; develop logistics strategies and policies; analyze forecasts and inventory levels; oversee vendor relationships and a logistics team; ensure regulatory compliance and continuous process improvement; coordinate deliveries and resolve supply chain issues.

Supervises EMS operations across multiple shifts while performing paramedic duties and responding to emergency and non-emergency calls. Ensures crew, vehicle, equipment, documentation, staffing, deployment, and regulatory readiness. Coordinates schedules, audits ambulances, manages operational reports and IT issues, addresses dispatch and maintenance needs, and enforces EMS protocols. Provides direct patient care, completes required reports, supports crisis response, and maintains professional leadership in a high-volume field environment.

Manages daily ambulance communications center operations and dispatch personnel. Develops deployment strategies, coordinates emergency and non-emergency responses, ensures equipment readiness, maintains compliance and confidential patient information, and monitors response-time performance. Supervises, schedules, trains, coaches, and evaluates staff; handles complaints and disciplinary documentation; prepares reports and analyzes operational data. Must also perform dispatcher, call taker, and EMT or paramedic duties as required.

Manage daily operations, staffing, system status, compliance, and community relations for an ambulance/wheelchair services unit. Oversee supervisors, budgeting input, incident review, vehicle/facility maintenance, training, and quality of patient care while ensuring regulatory compliance and readiness for emergency recall.

Support clinical quality improvement through PCR audits, incident investigations, regulatory compliance monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with clinical, operations, and education teams to improve patient outcomes and documentation quality.

Coordinate emergent and non-emergent patient transports between the hospital transfer center and Central EMS, monitor and document ETAs in CAD/Statcall, communicate updates to customers, investigate delays, ensure accurate timestamped records, uphold HIPAA and company policies, and support problem-solving and escalation.

Provide emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital medical care and patient transport at events and in the community, maintain ambulance and equipment readiness, document care, follow medical protocols and state law, and participate in public education and team leadership as needed.

The Call Taker answers incoming emergency calls, provides pre-arrival instructions, maintains communication with health facilities, and ensures the readiness of dispatch systems and cleanliness of the work area.

Supervises night and weekend EMS operations while performing paramedic duties. Responsibilities include responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing patient care, ensuring crew and ambulance readiness, auditing equipment and documentation, managing staffing and schedules, coordinating across shifts, addressing operational issues, and maintaining compliance with EMS regulations and medical protocols.

Oversees new employee orientation and EMS Academy instruction, coordinates continuing education and certifications, administers training records and competency assessments, partners with Medical Director and operations for compliance and documentation audits, develops training programs, and supports recruitment and regulatory adherence.

Lead regional recruiting efforts: manage full-cycle recruitment, partner with HR and operations, develop TA strategies and employer branding, run hiring events, source and track candidates, support relocation and EMT academy screening, and ensure EEO compliance.

Maintain and grow client relationships for Maricopa Ambulance by acting as primary contact, conducting business reviews, monitoring service levels, resolving issues, attending client meetings, and supporting onboarding and communication between clients and internal teams to enhance satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.

Supervise and manage field EMS staff including recruiting, scheduling, payroll, training, certification maintenance, vehicle and inventory oversight, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and on-scene leadership to ensure patient care, safety, and operational readiness.

Provide BLS patient care and movement on ALS and BLS ambulances, safely operate ambulance to/from calls, document transports per SOP, follow company policies, and maintain required certifications.

Five-week, instructor-led EMT-B training program with classroom, labs, and 24 clinical hours. Participants must attend full-time, pass testing and background/drug screens, obtain EMT-B licensure, and commit to at least 24 months full-time employment with LifeCare Medical Transports after certification.

Provide scheduled and unscheduled non-emergency medical transportation. Safely move and monitor passengers (wheelchair/stretcher) between homes, hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities. Maintain vehicle and equipment readiness, cleanliness, documentation, patient privacy (HIPAA), and communications with dispatch. Maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, EMT within one year), DOT physical, and complete ambulance driver safety training. Perform other duties as directed.

Oversees EMS training programs including new employee orientation, EMS Academy instruction, and continuing education. Manages training records, schedules certifications and recertifications, coordinates with medical and operations leadership, conducts competency assessments, assists with protocol development and audits, and supports recruitment and administrative tasks related to training.
