Oversees the Education and Early Childhood Development area of a Head Start/Early Head Start program, ensuring compliance with performance standards and best practices. Develops and implements family literacy and transition programming, supports early intervention and special education practices, and provides program oversight. The role requires early childhood education expertise, teaching experience with children birth through age five, supervisory experience, and required health screenings and background checks.

Provides direct patient care independently under required physician oversight and New Mexico regulatory supervision. The role requires physician assistant program completion, New Mexico licensure, DEA and controlled-substance registrations, Medicare and Medicaid credentials, and current BLS/CPR or ACLS certification. Employees must complete required healthcare testing and immunizations, including TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and influenza vaccination. Criminal records screening may apply based on assignment.

Assists with classroom activities, kitchen duties, child transportation, and maintaining safe, orderly program operations. May deliver meals to multiple Head Start centers and have assignments or routes changed based on operational needs. Must complete approved early childhood education training, obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications, and pass health, TB, and criminal background screenings.
