Field-facing client services role for a long-term care pharmacy: build relationships with facility staff, provide customer training, perform medication cart/room audits and cycle fill checks, act as single point of contact, ensure HIPAA compliance, and troubleshoot issues.

Process third-party billing and claim resolution for nursing homes, assisted living, group homes, and private pay. Verify insurance and Medicaid coverage, manage FFS/PPS billing, perform census balancing, enter fees and charges in Framework LTC, prepare pre-bills/reports/statements, handle customer billing inquiries, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Support Billing Manager with audits and account reconciliation.

Oversee monitoring and clinical management of infusion patients, ensure sterile compounding compliance, manage TPN adjustments, coordinate care with facilities and prescribers, orient and assess staff competency, handle IV order processing and on-call duties, and maintain up-to-date infusion knowledge and documentation.

Provide frontline scheduling and customer service for pharmacy clients and patients: handle inquiries, coordinate communication with pharmacy staff, document interactions, resolve issues or escalate, assist with refills and deliveries, and support policy and process improvements.

Oversee daily pharmacy operations for a long-term care pharmacy: manage pharmacist workflow and schedules, ensure timely dispensing and deliveries, handle customer inquiries and escalations, manage backorders and compliance (including DEA/HIPAA), train staff, provide clinical drug expertise, and maintain productivity and quality standards.

Process third-party billing and claim adjudication for long-term care clients (nursing homes, assisted living, group homes), verify insurance/Medicaid, manage FFS/PPS billing, prepare pre-bills/reports/statements, resolve customer billing inquiries, maintain census/payor verification, and comply with HIPAA and other regulations.

Provide on-site client support for long-term care and assisted living facilities: conduct medication cart/room audits, train staff, educate customers on pharmacy programs/technology, build relationships, and serve as single point of contact while ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance.

Verify and dispense prescription medications for long-term/post-acute care, maintain resident clinical records, manage controlled substances and perpetual inventory, prepare or supervise sterile IV products, respond to drug-related questions, document communications, and provide shift coverage including evenings, weekends, and holidays while complying with regulations.

Maintain timely, accurate posting and reconciliation of daily deposits, payments, and EOBs across payor classes; process credit card transactions, run posting reports, note patient accounts, and ensure HIPAA and departmental policy compliance. Support projects and other duties as assigned by the department manager.
