Develop strategic sales plans, build relationships with healthcare providers, identify new business opportunities, deliver presentations, monitor sales performance, conduct market research, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires residence in Colorado and occasional travel to Wyoming and Utah.

Manages MAC and under-reimbursement appeals by identifying underpaid pharmacy claims, compiling invoices and supporting documentation, submitting appeals to PBMs, tracking outcomes, and escalating unresolved disputes. Reviews reimbursement trends, supports payer audits, maintains records, monitors appeal deadlines and PBM procedures, and reports recovery results and audit risks to pharmacy leadership.

Performs medication regimen reviews, controlled substance and emergency drug kit audits, therapeutic interchange evaluations, and clinical documentation reviews for long-term care facilities. Provides written reports on pharmaceutical services, drug utilization, cost savings, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with facility administrators, nursing directors, medical directors, prescribers, and staff to address pharmacy-related concerns, improve resident care, and support surveys. Requires an active consultant pharmacist license and strong knowledge of nursing home regulations.

Support licensed pharmacists by preparing and verifying prescriptions, maintaining medication and resident records, handling controlled substances, receiving verbal orders, documenting communications, and providing drug-related guidance under supervision. May assist with sterile IV preparations and provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Drive adoption of infusion pharmacy products by developing territory plans, meeting sales targets, and building relationships with healthcare providers, infusion centers, specialty pharmacies, and other stakeholders. Educate clinicians on clinical data and product use, collaborate on patient access and reimbursement, analyze market opportunities, maintain CRM records, ensure compliant promotion, and represent the company at medical conferences and industry meetings.

Drive adoption of oncology specialty pharmacy products across an assigned territory. Build relationships with oncology and hematology providers, educate stakeholders on clinical data and products, coordinate patient access with specialty pharmacies and reimbursement teams, analyze territory performance, maintain CRM records, and ensure compliant promotional activity. The role requires pharmaceutical sales expertise, oncology knowledge, quota attainment, and travel throughout Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas.

Manage and resolve rejected pharmacy claims by researching payers (Medicare D, Medicaid, third-party), completing prior authorizations, coordinating with providers, performing edits/reversals, and tracking revenue-at-risk to maximize reimbursement and ensure timely billing.

Provide client-facing pharmacy support to long-term care and assisted living facilities: conduct customer training, perform medication cart/room audits, build facility relationships, ensure HIPAA/regulatory compliance, act as single point of contact, and troubleshoot issues.

Assist licensed pharmacists with prescription preparation, medication packaging and labeling, controlled substance handling and inventory, sterile IV compounding (if applicable), receiving verbal orders, documenting communications, maintaining resident medical records, responding to drug-related questions, and providing evening/weekend/holiday coverage while following HIPAA, DEA, state, and company policies.

Lead and execute a risk-based internal audit program across healthcare compliance areas (billing, privacy, vendor oversight, credentialing). Evaluate controls, report findings, track remediation, support investigations and data analytics, and supervise audit staff while maintaining regulatory knowledge and stakeholder reporting.
