Partner with Engineering, Investment, Product, and AI leaders while building and managing a high-performing data platform team. Translate complex financial data into reliable products that support portfolio construction, risk, performance, analytics, applications, and AI workloads.

Designs and executes manual and automated testing strategies for web applications, including functional, regression, exploratory, usability, API, and end-to-end testing. Builds test automation frameworks, develops test plans and cases, tracks defects, analyzes quality metrics, and collaborates with engineering and product teams. The role also evaluates testing tools and may support performance, load, security, and CI/CD testing improvements.

Lead corporate development and M&A strategy including financial modeling, due diligence, target coverage, cross-functional coordination, and capital allocation analysis to support firm growth and reporting.

Support institutional and national account relationships by producing client presentations, responding to information requests, completing questionnaires, and managing fund data. Provide front-office support for the Order Management System (Charles River/CRIMS) and connected trading applications. Monitor system health, troubleshoot FIX connectivity and performance issues, perform log analysis, handle incidents using ITIL practices, liaise with vendors and stakeholders, support upgrades/patches and integration testing, and document BAU processes to ensure audit-ready controls.

Support an assigned Vice President, Retail Sales to grow advisor relationships and close new business. Prospect and qualify leads, maintain CRM records, position alternative investment solutions (hedge funds, liquid alternatives), meet activity targets, provide client support, and assist with business planning and territory development. Hybrid role based in Calgary or Edmonton with occasional travel.

Assist development and testing of trading strategies, maintain internal technology assets, monitor markets and events, and provide support for trading processes, risk management, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Lead LinkedIn and YouTube strategy, content creation, and sponsorship activations to grow brand awareness and advisor relationships. Produce video-first and platform-native content, manage community and compliance, measure performance, and optimize campaigns. Collaborate with investment teams, creatives, and partners to translate complex investment topics into engaging storytelling and maximize sponsorship ROI.

Lead strategy, curriculum, and content for PICTON Learn to educate advisors and investors on alternative investments. Build CE-accredited programs, multimedia learning experiences, and distribution campaigns; partner with investments, product, sales, compliance, and creative teams; measure engagement and refine content using analytics and AI tools.

Lead development and execution of the firm's tax-aware investing strategy across portfolios, product design, and advisor education. Partner with investment, distribution, product, marketing, and compliance teams to incorporate tax efficiency into portfolio construction, create advisor-facing tools and thought leadership, and support advisor engagement to drive after-tax outcomes and asset growth.

Lead identification, evaluation, and onboarding of external managers and strategies for a multi-strategy platform. Conduct manager due diligence, assess portfolio impact, structure allocations, coordinate prime brokerage and operations, and present recommendations to senior leadership while managing onboarding, legal, and compliance considerations.
