Lead the butchery department to deliver excellent product quality, customer service, food-safety compliance, inventory/profit management, team development, and innovation aligned with Fresh strategy.

Lead and manage a team to plan, coordinate, and deliver integrated digital trade and promotional campaigns across website, app, CRM, social, paid media, and retail media. Translate trade priorities into digital execution, ensure asset and timeline governance, liaise with agencies and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement using analytics and campaign learnings to improve commercial performance.

Lead product, category and VAS marketing strategy for Pick n Pay. Develop integrated go-to-market campaigns, drive customer engagement, manage budgets, partnerships and agencies, measure commercial performance, and deliver growth across stores and digital channels.

Manage day-to-day fruit & vegetable operations to maximize sales and minimize shortages. Maintain hygiene, security, merchandising, and stock quality. Rotate stock, remove damaged/expired items, implement promotions, monitor budgets, optimize inventory, and supervise staff to uphold standards and customer service.

Prepare and produce meat products, maintain hygiene and safety standards, operate butchery equipment, and assist customers as needed.

The Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal product availability by forecasting demand, managing stock, and collaborating with buyers. Key duties include planning sales budgets, managing assortments, and monitoring performance through reporting.

The Supply Chain Planner ensures stock flow through the value chain, integrates forecasts, sales plans, and manages vendor orders to enhance profitability and availability while monitoring KPIs.

Assist in store operations while developing skills in performance management, stock control, and customer service, leading to store manager role.

The Blockman is responsible for preparing and breaking down meat carcasses, manufacturing various meat products, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service.

Six-month UIF-funded retail skills programme at Pick n Pay Hypermarkets offering blended learning and in-store practical experience. Participants receive coaching, retail, customer service, and specialist food-stream training (butchery, bakery, health & beauty, or all-round retail). Stipend provided and documents required for application.
