Responsibilities include vital signs, monitoring, ECGs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, wound care, splinting, oxygen therapy, catheter care, patient preparation, documentation, equipment maintenance, clerical support, and assisting with patient throughput and emergency procedures.

Provides physical security for hospital patients, employees, visitors, buildings, assets, and premises. Investigates incidents, makes arrests when appropriate, manages patient and visitor control situations, applies restraints when necessary, documents emergency actions, and follows disaster plans.
