Provides continuous, non-clinical monitoring and safety support for hospital patients who cannot be left unattended. Observes patients with age, frailty, physical, mental, or other conditions requiring supervision; assists with restroom use after gait-belt and body-mechanics training; follows hospital procedures, patient-specific care standards, safety protocols, education requirements, and protective-equipment guidelines.

Oversees staff competency, quality, productivity, and compliance within hospital revenue cycle operations. Develops education and training programs, analyzes workflows, identifies process issues, designs and tests system or process improvements, maintains documentation, and supports audit tools and corrective action plans. Requires extensive knowledge of Patient Access, Coding, Charge Entry, Audit, and Patient Accounting functions.

Supports the revenue cycle systems manager with revenue cycle applications, systems, processes, and related activities. Ensures work complies with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Requires experience with revenue cycle system and application functions, along with an associate degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent healthcare experience. CPAR certification must be obtained within 20 months of hire.
