Lead the Public Information Team to plan and deliver accurate, timely communications. Serve as spokesperson, manage media relations and crisis communications, create and oversee digital content (website, social, video), supervise staff, and develop public outreach and awareness campaigns to protect and promote the Council's public image.

The Herbicide Applicator plans and oversees the application of chemicals to control vegetation, supervises assistants, and maintains records and equipment. Works outdoors and coordinates daily spraying operations.

Firefighters combat and prevent fires, respond to emergencies, maintain equipment, and educate the public on fire safety. They perform rescue operations and participate in training.

Administer the Citys Employee Relations program by advising on rules and employment law, investigating grievances and misconduct, coordinating hearings and records, managing post-hearing documentation, and developing training and process improvements. Requires frequent interaction with employees, managers, hearing officers, and representatives, and handling confidential, time-sensitive information.

Answers emergency and non-emergency calls, enters incidents into CAD, operates telephony and radio systems, forwards calls to dispatchers, provides information/referrals, monitors video/alarm systems and local conditions, and maintains incident records in a call-center environment.

Monitor and support processing of personnel transactions in the HRIS, research and resolve exceptions, ensure compliance with personnel policies, perform audits and payroll certification, assist with system testing and user support, and provide training to ensure accurate, efficient HR and payroll processing.
