Supervises municipal court magistrates and staff, oversees court proceedings and alternative sentencing programs, prepares and conducts hearings, maintains case records, processes payments, assists judges, responds to public inquiries, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and procedures.

Serves as a liaison between the municipal court and the public; processes complaints, payments, case records, and court documents; assists judges during proceedings; conducts hearings; evaluates complaints and testimony; reviews police reports; determines probable cause; issues warrants; sets bail; and oversees alternative sentencing programs.

Supervises paralegals and administrative staff while supporting attorneys with litigation and prosecution matters. Oversees legal research, claim investigations, discovery, trial preparation, court filings, case documentation, records management, deadlines, and legal holds. Coordinates with attorneys, witnesses, opposing parties, government departments, and the public. Provides staff direction, training, performance feedback, and administrative oversight to ensure timely case support and compliance with legal requirements.

Analyzes, maintains, and updates GIS databases and geospatial data using ArcGIS and related software. Performs spatial analysis, data extraction, mapping, reporting, and data-quality verification using maps, legal descriptions, aerial imagery, and tabular records. Develops relational databases, supports applications, manages user access, creates documentation, trains users, and contributes to cross-department municipal projects.

Leads the City’s Architecture Division by overseeing architectural design, construction, remodeling, contract administration, public bidding, consultant work, code compliance, site inspections, project scheduling, and staff supervision. Manages complex municipal projects from renovation through new construction, develops contract documents, coordinates clients and professional staff, resolves technical issues, maintains records, and presents project information to public officials and the community.

Coordinate and oversee traffic studies, signal system design and central traffic computer operations, road construction reviews, accident analyses, permitting, and staff supervision to improve traffic flow, pedestrian and roadway safety, and ensure compliance with federal and local standards.

The Herbicide Applicator plans and oversees the application of chemicals to control vegetation, supervises assistants, and maintains records and equipment. Works outdoors and coordinates daily spraying operations.

Firefighters combat and prevent fires, respond to emergencies, maintain equipment, and educate the public on fire safety. They perform rescue operations and participate in training.
