Directs revenue cycle and billing operations, leads billing specialists, manages managed care contracts, negotiates reimbursement rates, ensures regulatory compliance, monitors performance, resolves billing discrepancies, and collaborates with finance, accounting, IT, credentialing, and other departments to optimize revenue collection and improve processes.

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the full revenue cycle for an FQHC, optimizing reimbursement, managing billing and denials, leading Athenahealth system optimization, negotiating managed care contracts, ensuring compliance, and driving analytics and operational improvements across patient access, coding, collections, and A/R.

Provides peer-based behavioral health and recovery support for patients with substance use diagnoses. Coordinates referrals and transitions of care, connects patients to medical and behavioral health services, conducts outreach and home visits, facilitates groups, advocates for patients, reduces barriers to care, supports self-help recovery, documents case management activities, and collaborates with providers, families, community organizations, and care coordination teams.

Collects, validates, analyzes, and reports clinical quality and program data; prepares PCMH and UDS submissions; audits EMR and billing data; builds dashboards and reports; recommends data workflow improvements; supports grant and pay-for-quality reporting.

Manage medical and dental claims lifecycle: monitor aging, resolve and resubmit claims, maintain DSO <40 days, collaborate with providers and teams, audit denials, ensure coding accuracy and compliance (FQHC/340B/behavioral health/telemedicine), and use EHR/clearinghouse tools to maximize timely reimbursement.

Provide patient health care services under the supervision of a physician, performing routine clinical tasks typically done by physicians. Deliver assessments, treatments, and documentation while being academically and clinically trained and accountable for ones own actions to supervising physicians.
