Reviews and updates secondary cost pricing in RightAngle, processes freight and terminal invoices, calculates fuel surcharges, prepares accrual journal entries, develops cost metrics, and analyzes financial reports. The role supports monthly close, account reconciliations, financial research, and other accounting projects while ensuring accurate reporting.

Schedule and coordinate crude, feedstock, refined product, and LPG movements across pipelines, terminals, barges, vessels, rail, and trucks. Liaise with traders, refineries, counterparties, and operators; manage inventories, supply-demand balances, contracts, invoices, settlements, costs, and reconciliations. Resolve delivery issues, maintain accurate ETRM data, and support refinery and trading requirements in a fast-paced environment. Requires onsite work five days weekly and 24/7 on-call availability.

Provides technical support for refinery process units through daily monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, operating guidance, asset improvement, test runs, and data analysis. Supports outages, process safety programs, incident investigations, environmental reporting, catalyst and chemical selection, and improvement projects. Conducts field visits involving ladders, heights, and confined spaces, collaborates across refinery teams, and mentors interns and junior engineers.

Serve as the technical H&S resource for the refinery: develop and improve safety programs, lead audits and investigations, deliver training, support high-risk work and projects, analyze safety performance, and provide oversight for contractor and workforce compliance with regulations and facility standards.

Provides administrative and operational support to the Commercial Scheduling team. Maintains and validates scheduling and supply chain data, generates reports, analyzes information, processes vendor invoices, resolves payment inquiries with Accounts Payable, and supports commercial scheduling activities and special projects. The role requires strong organization, communication, analytical, and time-management skills and is onsite five days per week in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Provide process engineering design and project support for refinery capital and optimization projects. Develop PFDs/P&IDs, equipment sizing, simulations, and safety reviews; support FEED, commissioning, troubleshooting, turnarounds, and cross-functional teams while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring compliance with industry and site standards.

Compile and reconcile daily refinery production data, shipments, receipts and inventory to maintain accurate volumetric and mass balances. Populate data warehouse systems, generate daily reports by deadlines, support EIA and FTZ reporting, perform peer review, investigate data quality issues, collaborate with operations and corporate teams, and drive yield accounting process improvements. Onsite role with early morning start.

Manage ISCC program compliance and related European regulatory schemes, maintain mass balance and GHG calculations, lead audits, provide regulatory documentation and traceability, and partner with commercial and operations teams to ensure compliant execution of renewable fuel transactions.

Lead company-wide implementation of turnaround and capital project controls: standardize planning, scheduling, estimating, cost control and software systems (P6/CPMS/SAP), train and audit site teams, manage KPIs, integrate tools with enterprise systems, and support continuous improvement and contractor performance across refineries. Requires significant travel during rollout.

Lead network-wide strategy and commercial management for third-party petrochemical storage and terminals. Optimize inventory, utilization, and capacity deployment to maximize margin and flexibility. Negotiate and manage terminal contracts, align capacity with operations, partner cross-functionally with trading, scheduling, and operations, and build a centralized team with governance, metrics, and continuous improvement.

Provide litigation and regulatory support to Managing Counsel including legal research and writing, manage discovery and ESI, use eDiscovery and legal-hold tools, prepare documents and exhibits, track deadlines, assist with records retention, invoice review, and administrative tasks onsite at Martinez Refinery.

Lead mechanical integrity and reliability programs for a refinery: oversee inspections, RBI, compliance with codes (ASME, API, NBIC), manage integrity plans and budgets, coach staff, drive failure analysis and reliability improvements, and coordinate with maintenance, projects, and turnarounds.

Lead a regional procurement team supporting refinery operations, maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects. Manage sourcing, contracting, SAP/CLM purchase order lifecycles, supplier performance, negotiations, cost savings, risk mitigation, and compliance. Partner with Legal, Insurance, Accounting, Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering to resolve procurement and invoice issues, drive process improvements, and manage the department budget while coaching and developing staff.

Provide advanced process control (APC) support for refinery operations: design, implement, troubleshoot Honeywell control system applications, develop inferentials/soft sensors and DMC applications, support capital projects, ensure safety/environmental compliance, and assist operations and maintenance.

Provide process engineering and design support for refinery capital and expense projects, troubleshooting, commissioning, and turnarounds. Prepare design packages, perform calculations, evaluate solutions, manage external studies, support safety and hazard analyses, lead multi-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective process designs.

Lead and manage a team of process engineers to provide day-to-day refinery unit troubleshooting, technical assurance, and long-term process optimization. Oversee safety, MOC and PHA delivery, resource allocation for turnarounds and projects, mentor staff, and support margin improvement and operational reliability across refinery process units.

Lead and support refinery DCS/PCN/ICS operations and projects: install, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell DCS and PCN hardware/software; implement OT cybersecurity (NIST, IEC 62443); perform vulnerability assessments; manage documentation, backups, incident response, and compliance; coordinate vendors; train operations/maintenance; support capital projects and on-call rotations.

Lead multi-disciplinary engineering and construction teams to deliver refinery capital projects from initiation through startup. Manage cost estimates, schedules, contracting, IFC drawings, RFIs, construction oversight, closeout documentation (MOC, PSSR, as-builts), and emergency on-call response.

Provide technical support for rotating and reciprocating machinery at a refinery. Troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, oversee vibration and oil analysis programs, develop repair scopes and preventive maintenance, mentor craftspeople, support commissioning, and maintain equipment documentation to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Lead site incident investigations and personal safety programs at a refinery. Ensure regulatory compliance, develop safety programs and training, conduct field audits and coaching, analyze safety data and KPIs, support turnarounds and contractor safety, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and improve safety performance.
