Prepares journal entries, monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, SEC filings, footnote workbooks, and financial statement tie-outs. Analyzes actual results against expectations, supports internal controls and audits, responds to auditor inquiries, and assists with SEC-related matters and ad hoc analyses. Provides executive leadership for statutory reporting at a multi-carrier property and casualty insurer. Oversees statutory close processes, NAIC and state filings, regulatory compliance, internal controls, audits, RBC calculations, and capital reporting. Partners with finance, actuarial, reinsurance, investments, tax, and data teams; manages regulatory changes and external relationships; develops accounting policies and reporting procedures; and recruits and mentors the reporting team.

Lead hands-on insurance pricing actuarial work across multiple business segments. Partner with underwriting, product, reinsurance, MGAs, and executives on rate reviews, indications, renewals, program evaluation, rate adequacy, and competitive pricing insights. Apply and enhance internal pricing tools, translate actuarial analysis into business decisions, and adapt to changing priorities. The role requires strong pricing expertise, actuarial credentials, technical proficiency, cross-functional communication, and comfort working autonomously in ambiguous environments.

The Senior Actuarial Analyst supports statistical reporting, regulatory data calls, actuarial pricing and reserving, and Data Warehouse development. The role translates regulatory requirements into data requests, partners with Data Engineering and Program Managers, maintains reports, supports program onboarding, enhances actuarial models, monitors portfolio performance, and mentors junior analysts. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential, along with P&C insurance analytics experience and actuarial exam progress.

Lead design, build, and optimize scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and data architectures to support analytics and filing-ready statistical reporting. Partner with Actuarial and Compliance, ensure data quality, mentor engineers, and introduce tooling and best practices.

Drive growth by prospecting and building relationships with crop insurance agents, farmers, and agribusinesses. Recommend and sell crop insurance products, manage proposal and onboarding processes, maintain CRM records, report sales performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and travel extensively within the region (up to 70%).
