Build and maintain full-stack features for a crop insurance claims platform using Node.js/TypeScript and Vue.js. Translate regulatory materials (RMA/FCIC) into data models and logic, investigate PASS/NCIS errors, collaborate with claims and underwriting teams, write tests, follow security best practices, and travel periodically.

Perform month-end close tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, P&L analysis, and bordereaux review. Support financial reporting, audit requests, variance analysis, process improvements, cross-functional issue resolution, and ad hoc projects.

Senior in-house counsel responsible for public company governance, SEC reporting, securities compliance, M&A, capital markets (including catastrophe bonds/ILS), corporate insurance law, and public company litigation. Leads transactions, manages outside counsel, advises C-suite and Board, oversees contracts and regulatory issues, and mentors junior lawyers.
