Own day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, AP/AR, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, audits, internal controls, payroll accounting, and financial systems optimization.

Follow schematics and work instructions, maintain clean and safe shop areas, document work, and flag discrepancies to engineering.

Design, develop, and test flight and ground software for orbital return vehicles; integrate with avionics and GN&C; build tools and infrastructure for testing, telemetry, and data analysis; debug issues during integration, testing, and flight operations; collaborate cross-functionally and support flight readiness and mission operations.

Design, build, and test avionics hardware (flight computers, power, sensors, comms) across architecture through flight. Support qualification testing (vibration, thermal, EMI/EMC), integration, troubleshooting, test procedures, and flight readiness for return vehicles.

Lead and scale Outpost's full software function, owning strategy, architecture, and execution across flight software, ground systems, and infrastructure. Build a high-performing engineering organization, establish best practices and release processes, partner with avionics and GN&C, and report metrics to executive leadership to ensure reliable system delivery.

The Director of Structures and Mechanisms leads the engineering team for structural systems in aerospace, ensuring flight readiness through design, analysis, and certification.

The VP of Engineering, Vehicle leads the engineering team responsible for the development and operational readiness of space vehicles. Key duties include overseeing technical performance, budget management, and engineering leadership while ensuring the successful execution of vehicle programs, from design to production.

Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and President, including calendar and inbox management, travel booking, briefing materials, meeting logistics, document editing, expense reporting, reception support, and handling sensitive information.
