Support the Research Manager with Indigenous community-based research: prepare information packages and toolkits, gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, conduct literature reviews and gap analyses, develop preliminary outcome indicators, assist report writing and presentations, participate in working groups, and monitor provincial and federal policy developments affecting Indigenous women and families.

Lead ONWA's marketing, branding, digital engagement, and public awareness work. Develop, implement, and evaluate integrated communications strategies and campaigns; supervise the Marketing & Communications team; advise leadership and partners; ensure culturally grounded messaging and brand integrity; use audience insights and performance measurement to improve impact.

Develops and delivers culturally grounded, trauma‑informed training and resources for Parenting Support Workers. Creates workshops, manuals, and communication tools, coordinates events, supports program development, and collaborates with staff to improve parenting supports, reunification, and advocacy for Indigenous women and families.

Plan, implement, and evaluate Indigenous community-based research projects using Indigenous methodologies. Lead data collection and analysis, prepare research papers, policy recommendations, and project reports. Integrate project management, performance measurement, and data governance. Identify funding opportunities, represent ONWA at government tables, and build partnerships with research institutions. Monitor developments affecting Indigenous women and families and ensure research aligns with ONWA strategic priorities and Indigenous perspectives.

Develops and delivers culturally grounded anti-racism and cultural safety trainings for health care professionals; creates resources and workshops; coordinates community relationships, events and special projects; provides administrative coordination and travels provincially to meet community needs.

Work with Indigenous communities to identify needs and build capacity addressing gang-related issues and human trafficking affecting Indigenous women and girls. Provide culturally appropriate service planning, coordinate targeted supports and workshops, liaise with service agencies, and assist non-Indigenous agencies to deliver trauma-informed, Indigenous-centred services.
