Leads full-cycle recruitment across ONWA, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, selection, onboarding support, recruitment system maintenance, compliance, and workforce planning. Develops innovative talent strategies, builds community and educational partnerships, reports recruitment data and trends, and advises managers on recruitment best practices while supporting equitable and culturally informed hiring.

Provide organized administrative, operational, technical, and logistical support to a department and manager. Maintain relationships with local service agencies, track and report statistics, locate Indigenous community resources, and support families. Perform office management duties, travel as required, and follow management direction while meeting strict deadlines.

Coordinates provincial initiatives supporting awareness, prevention, education, healing, and advocacy related to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Provides training, capacity building, presentations, and educational resources to Indigenous communities and partners. Manages community engagement, events, stakeholder relationships, reporting, knowledge sharing, and program deliverables while applying culturally grounded and trauma-informed approaches.

Leads, coaches, and supports employees across community programs; ensures program standards, strategic objectives, and membership deliverables are met. Builds capacity among Indigenous membership organizations and partners across Ontario, manages budgets and planning, oversees reporting, facilitates workshops and presentations, and develops collaborative stakeholder relationships. The role requires culturally informed, trauma-aware service delivery and strong knowledge of Indigenous communities, governance structures, and nonprofit programs.

Administers and supports ONWA’s Microsoft 365 services, Windows Server and Active Directory environments, network infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity controls, virtualization platforms, backups, and remote-work technologies. Provides technical support to staff across multiple locations, manages access and permissions, troubleshoots infrastructure issues, coordinates with vendors, and participates in technology projects, upgrades, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develops and delivers culturally grounded anti-racism and cultural safety trainings for health care professionals; creates resources and workshops; coordinates community relationships, events and special projects; provides administrative coordination and travels provincially to meet community needs.

Work with Indigenous communities to identify needs and build capacity addressing gang-related issues and human trafficking affecting Indigenous women and girls. Provide culturally appropriate service planning, coordinate targeted supports and workshops, liaise with service agencies, and assist non-Indigenous agencies to deliver trauma-informed, Indigenous-centred services.

Develops and delivers culturally grounded, trauma‑informed training and resources for Parenting Support Workers. Creates workshops, manuals, and communication tools, coordinates events, supports program development, and collaborates with staff to improve parenting supports, reunification, and advocacy for Indigenous women and families.
