Welcomes patients at a healthcare clinic by completing registration, collecting demographic and insurance information, scheduling and confirming appointments, processing payments, answering calls, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires fluent English and Spanish, multitasking, communication skills, multi-line telephone experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a high school diploma or GED. Medical terminology and healthcare or call center experience are preferred.

Analyzes healthcare revenue cycle data, reimbursement, billing, claims, denials, accounts receivable, payer mix, and payment trends. Develops KPI reports and dashboards, identifies revenue leakage and workflow improvements, supports EPIC and reporting tools, and communicates findings to financial, clinical, operational, and payer stakeholders. The hybrid role requires onsite work at least two days weekly in Hood River, Oregon.

Lead and supervise the Assister team to expand access to health coverage, financial assistance, and social supports. Manage grant-funded programs, ensure federal/state compliance, oversee reporting and performance metrics, collaborate with clinical and community partners, and serve as a certified subject-matter expert in insurance enrollment and financial assistance.
