Design, build, install, test, and support custom mechanical equipment for a particle accelerator radioisotope production facility. Produce detailed CAD models and drawings, manage fabrication and assembly, develop test plans and documentation, commission equipment, and provide lifecycle troubleshooting and upgrades while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Maintain and improve facility infrastructure and utility systems for 24/7 radioisotope production. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot and root-cause analyze systems, manage vendors/contractors, support capital projects, optimize BAS and utilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide 24/7 on-call engineering coverage.

Set up and operate manual and CNC (3- to 5-axis VMC) machines in a prototype shop. Apply GD&T, read prints, proof first-run parts, use CAM software, perform measurements, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and maintain safe, organized work areas while collaborating with engineers and scientists.

Hands-on design, installation, integration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of high-power RF systems for a linear accelerator; develop procedures, work with vendors, perform simulations and analyses, and ensure safe, high-availability operation in a radiation-producing facility.
