Designs, programs, validates, installs, troubleshoots, and commissions PLC, HMI/SCADA, instrumentation, control hardware, and industrial control systems for linear accelerators. Develops schematics, test plans, procedures, system documentation, and prototypes; performs trade studies and hazard analyses; coordinates with cross-functional teams and vendors; and mentors associate engineers. This onsite role involves hazardous environments and approximately 10% travel.

Owns the end-to-end design, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of major controls subsystems for linear accelerator and industrial control systems. Leads system testing, safety and reliability improvements, standards development, vendor relationships, cross-functional technical decisions, and mentoring of engineers. Works onsite in Valencia, California, across laboratory, engineering, R&D, and production environments, with approximately 10% travel.

Designs, develops, tests, integrates, and supports PLC, HMI/SCADA, networking, and distributed controls software for scientific and industrial systems. Troubleshoots controls hardware, instrumentation, communication interfaces, and software; contributes to safety analyses, documentation, standards, commissioning, and operator training. Collaborates across technical teams and mentors associate engineers. This is a full-time onsite role with less than 10% travel and exposure to specialized industrial and radiological environments.
