Manage R&D initiatives from concept through feasibility and early development, guide experimental optical design and validation, identify disruptive technologies, collaborate with internal and external partners, and influence the corporate technology roadmap. Oversee project budgets, resources, milestones, lab integration, and delivery of complex innovation programs.

Develop and optimize optical metrology applications for semiconductor manufacturing and high-volume fabrication environments. Collaborate with algorithm, software, and engineering teams to troubleshoot advanced systems, support product installations and evaluations, and create test procedures, customer reports, and marketing materials. Provide technical customer support, monitor emerging technologies, and contribute to new product introductions. The role requires semiconductor process knowledge, optical metrology expertise, data analysis, coding, and domestic and international travel.

Leads manufacturing engineering for semiconductor metrology equipment, supporting assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, supplier qualification, electrical design, fixturing, documentation, compliance, NPI, and continuous improvement. Oversees BOMs, drawings, work instructions, ECO/ECR implementation, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional project coordination while driving quality, cost, and cycle-time improvements.

Lead system architecture and end-to-end development of high-performance metrology products for semiconductor manufacturing. Drive cross-disciplinary design, algorithm development, data analysis, performance budgeting, testing, diagnostics, and product transfer to manufacturing while mentoring engineers and supporting on-site/field activities.

Partner with cross-functional teams to build and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and reporting for a semiconductor equipment business. Own P&L, cash flow, budgeting, cost and margin analysis, and provide strategic insights for product introductions, CAPEX, and operational performance. Drive process improvement, ERP/planning system optimization, and present findings to senior leadership and investors.

Develop and optimize optical metrology applications for semiconductor manufacturing, engage with customers for product evaluation and new product introduction, apply statistical techniques for HVM optimization, provide regional support, present technical analyses, and maintain customer confidentiality. Travel domestically up to 25%.

Own the strategy, roadmap, commercialization, and lifecycle management of Nova’s software product portfolio. Translate customer and market needs into product requirements, priorities, business cases, and growth initiatives. Lead customer evaluations, beta programs, demonstrations, escalations, and go-to-market activities while coordinating R&D, Engineering, Service, Sales, and Marketing. Drive product performance, adoption, profitability, competitive differentiation, launch readiness, and end-of-life planning in a global semiconductor metrology environment.
