Serve as the on-shift electrical authority for HPCC power systems, overseeing operation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and safety for medium/low-voltage equipment, UPS, switchgear, generators, and protection schemes. Provide technical guidance, mentor operators, enforce NFPA/OSHA/LOTO compliance, participate in root cause analyses, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable power operations.

Leads the company’s Security Operations organization and owns incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, GRC and privacy, and offensive security. Leads vulnerability management and exploit research across HPC and cloud infrastructure. Builds and manages technical teams, directs vulnerability analysis and exploit reverse engineering, develops exploitability-weighted risk models, prioritizes remediation, partners with infrastructure and engineering teams, oversees tooling and metrics, and briefs security leadership on exposure and program maturity.

Design, implement, and maintain network security architecture for hyperscale HPC and cloud environments. Lead detection and response for network threats, integrate controls across on-prem and cloud, support segmentation and Zero Trust, evaluate security tech, mentor junior engineers, and document policies and standards.

Lead a continuous, production-focused red team to emulate named threat actors against HPC, cloud, and Kubernetes environments. Validate detection and response, run adversary emulation campaigns, manage vendor engagements, build offensive tooling, drive threat-led design reviews, own remediation SLAs, and report evidence-backed findings to the CISO and board.

Operate and administer Nozomi Networks sensors and Vantage/Arc for OT asset visibility and threat detection. Triage and investigate OT alerts, perform network traffic analysis, maintain asset inventories and topology maps, develop detection rules and dashboards, support incident response, produce security reports, onboard OT assets, contribute to policies/playbooks, and mentor junior analysts.

Lead and mentor engineers to design, implement, and optimize hyperscale network security. Manage firewalls, proxies, segmentation, incident escalation, vulnerability assessments, and remediation. Build automation playbooks and integrate tools (Python, Terraform, vendor APIs) for lifecycle management. Coordinate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to embed Zero Trust and secure cloud networking practices.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) across on-prem and cloud. Drive segmentation, security standards, monitoring/SIEM investigations, architecture reviews, automation, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead design and operation of platform vulnerability management and real-time threat detection across bare-metal, containers, and cloud. Integrate security into CI/CD and IaC, run triage/prioritization, automate posture assessment, conduct platform security assessments, and collaborate with engineering to drive remediation and hardening.

Lead and grow a team protecting network and infrastructure for a large HPC/cloud environment. Oversee network security architecture, segmentation/micro-segmentation, edge security, exposure management, vulnerability scanning and remediation, and infrastructure hardening. Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and IT operations; translate technical risk into executive reporting and evolve security posture against emerging threats.

Lead day-to-day physical security operations across data center facilities, supervise SOC guard force, manage security systems (VMS, PACS), oversee incident escalation and investigations, run drone operations, enforce SOPs, coordinate with GSOC, law enforcement, and facilities teams, and support compliance and audit readiness.

Serve as on-shift senior authority for a critical-infrastructure data center watch floor: command security and operations staff, monitor life-safety and security systems, act as first-line Incident Commander under ICS/NIMS, execute Crisis Response and SOPs, oversee access control and contractor activity, conduct handovers and reporting, deliver training and drills, and coordinate with external emergency responders and internal operational teams.

Operate the security change management process, run risk and vendor assessments, maintain the enterprise risk register, author and manage security policies, facilitate threat/risk workshops, track remediation and exceptions, and produce risk reporting and compliance metrics while coordinating across Engineering, Product, Legal, HR, and Operations.

Own day-to-day SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance programs: run readiness assessments, lead internal and external audits, administer the GRC platform, drive automated evidence collection, manage remediation and vendor risk, and produce executive compliance reporting.

Lead and centralize partner strategy for HPC and cloud infrastructure. Build and manage vendor ecosystems, negotiate commercial agreements, monitor vendor performance, coordinate cross-functional planning, and drive joint go-to-market initiatives to support AI compute, data center, and networking growth.
