Coordinate and process diagnostic and specialty referrals, obtain authorizations, schedule appointments, manage referral tracking and authorization worklists, perform patient registration and front-desk duties, triage calls, manage inboxes and PHI, and support patient access and office workflows.

Provide comprehensive optometric care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment initiation, and case management. Collaborate with clinical team, follow best-practice guidelines, mentor staff, and ensure quality outcomes across age-specific patient populations.

Support and administer athenahealth and connected EHR systems: route and triage documents, provision and deactivate users, assign access, audit permissions, provide training and frontline EHR support, troubleshoot queues/orders/referrals, escalate recurring issues, and assist workflow optimization and system testing while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Provide administrative and clinical support focused on obtaining prior authorizations and processing prescription refills. Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, insurers, and care team members, manage documentation and medical records, track authorization status, and perform basic clinical procedures to maintain patient flow and timely care.

Provide individual short-term behavioral health interventions to school-aged children, adolescents, and families within School-Based Health Centers. Collaborate with integrated school and medical teams, perform risk assessments, maintain electronic medical records, consult with outside agencies, and support student wellbeing and school functioning.
