Directs clinical services for children affected by parental substance use. Responsibilities include child assessments, individualized treatment planning, counseling, family therapy, crisis intervention, care coordination, outcome reporting, program development, staff training, regulatory compliance, advocacy, and transition planning. The role collaborates with families, multidisciplinary teams, schools, child welfare agencies, healthcare providers, and community partners while ensuring trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

Provide safe, supervised care for clients in a medically monitored detox program: orient clients, monitor vitals/withdrawal (COWS/CIWA), document in EHRs, assist with daily needs, support nursing/clinical staff, maintain safety and program compliance, conduct room checks, urine screens, medication counts, and follow emergency procedures and regulatory standards.

Provides direct care and supervision to detox clients: conducts vitals and urine screens, administers and documents medications, manages crises, maintains EMAR and records, performs room checks/searches, coordinates with medical providers, and supports adherence to licensing and regulatory standards.

Provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care for children in the Child Development Center following Texas DFPS standards. Support parents, lead activities, document behavior and attendance, assist with hygiene and medication supervision, plan lessons and outings, report abuse/neglect, and attend required trainings.
