Monitors private market fund and co-investment portfolios by tracking material events, performance data, valuations, and underperformance triggers. Prepares quarterly investment summaries, responds to monitoring requests, assesses portfolio risks, and delivers analysis to investment and portfolio management teams. The role also develops AI-enabled monitoring workflows, supports internal data platform integration, and collaborates with investment, finance, reporting, and operational diligence teams.

Summer Associate intern on Neuberger Private Equity’s Primaries and Co-Investments team. Responsibilities include screening and conducting due diligence on investment opportunities, researching companies and assets, performing financial analysis, preparing investment committee materials, engaging sponsors and industry experts, and monitoring existing investments.

Conduct fundamental equity research, monitor portfolio companies, develop investment ideas, build valuation models, and make trading recommendations. The role involves company and industry analysis, management and analyst engagement, risk and opportunity assessment, research-system maintenance, and support for client marketing. Travel may be required for site visits, competitor analysis, and investment conferences. Candidates need financial analysis experience, sector expertise, international equity exposure, strong communication skills, and Series 7 and 66 licenses within six months if not already held.
