Leads the Central Bay engineering team and oversees maintenance, repair, inspections, scheduling, work orders, safety, regulatory compliance, quality control, environmental programs, and cost control for a 26-vessel ferry fleet. The role manages engineering staff and contractors, investigates incidents, supports ISO certification, coordinates with vessel operations, maintains WETA assets, and provides performance reporting.

Leads North Bay marine engineering operations, overseeing vessel, facility, and terminal maintenance; inspections; repairs; preventive maintenance; work scheduling; subcontractor and shipyard quality control; regulatory compliance; safety practices; cost control; and performance reporting to WETA. Collaborates with operations teams to diagnose issues, identify root causes, allocate resources, and improve fleet reliability and operational efficiency.

Maintain safe, compliant operation of passenger vessels by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, propulsion, electrical, hydraulic and auxiliary systems; diagnose and repair failures; plan projects and order parts; complete inspections and maintenance records; coordinate with crew and vendors; respond to scheduled and emergency maintenance; promote safety, environmental compliance, and reliability.
