Support patient-centered, team-based care by managing prescription workflows: perform prior authorizations, update and verify medication lists in the EMR, queue prescriptions for provider approval, complete refill requests within protocol, communicate with pharmacies and patients, and contact new patients to enter medications.

Supervise and train front office medical reception staff, manage scheduling, PTO and timecards, oversee patient flow and EMR in-baskets, handle complaints, support billing inquiries, perform cash handling and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Researches and resolves physician service claim denials, handles appeals, documents actions in the practice management system, manages insurance/patient credits and secondary claims, identifies denial trends, answers account inquiries, and works with internal teams to resolve billing issues.

Provide primary and urgent care, conduct physical exams, manage chronic illnesses, prescribe medications, and educate patients while ensuring quality and safety in care delivery.

Provide on-site urgent care and workers' compensation medical services: evaluate and treat non-emergency and work-related injuries, complete WC documentation, perform employment-related physicals, document in EHR, collaborate with staff and external case managers, and follow regulatory and clinic protocols.

Coordinate coverage assistance for uninsured and underinsured patients, support Medi-Cal enrollment/HPE/redetermination, bridge inpatient and outpatient care, perform SDOH assessments, liaise with clinical and community partners, document in EHR, track outcomes, and support care transitions and quality improvement.

Provide administrative support across HR functions including recruiting, benefits, leave administration, employee records, and orientation. Maintain confidential HR files, answer routine employee questions, assist events and audits, liaise with benefits vendors, and perform clerical tasks independently within established procedures.

The physician will provide urgent care, evaluate work-related injuries, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering patient care.

Provide primary and urgent care to patients, including physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and health education. Collaborate with healthcare team and ensure documentation compliance.
