Manage incoming/outgoing referrals, track and document referral status, assemble clinical information, coordinate prior authorizations with insurers, update patient charts and scan documentation into the EHR, contact external offices for appointments, and support front office duties as needed.

We seek a full-time Urgent Care physician experienced in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine for our clinics in California.

The physician will provide urgent care, evaluate work-related injuries, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering patient care.

Provide primary and urgent care to patients, including physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and health education. Collaborate with healthcare team and ensure documentation compliance.

Investigate and resolve physician service claim denials and credits, file appeals and secondary claims, document actions in the practice management system, identify denial trends, coordinate with internal teams, handle customer inquiries and special cases, and post payments accurately.

Provide administrative HR support including maintaining personnel records, processing applications, answering routine employee questions, assisting with onboarding and benefits, auditing files, liaising with vendors, and supporting events and clerical HR tasks.

Provide on-site urgent care and workers' compensation medical services: evaluate and treat non-emergency and work-related injuries, complete WC documentation, perform employment-related physicals, document in EHR, collaborate with staff and external case managers, and follow regulatory and clinic protocols.
