Process and track incoming/outgoing referrals, obtain prior authorizations, contact insurers and external offices, assemble clinical information, maintain accurate EHR documentation (scan records), communicate with patients and clinic staff, and cover front office duties as needed.

Support patient-centered, team-based care by managing prescription workflows: perform prior authorizations, update and verify medication lists in the EMR, queue prescriptions for provider approval, complete refill requests within protocol, communicate with pharmacies and patients, and contact new patients to enter medications.

Supervise and train front office medical reception staff, manage scheduling, PTO and timecards, oversee patient flow and EMR in-baskets, handle complaints, support billing inquiries, perform cash handling and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.
