Build and maintain dispatch, price, and capacity expansion models for CAISO and SPP. Collaborate with research, engineering, and revenue teams to incorporate market insights, improve modeling infrastructure, and support technical sales and post-sales discussions.

Build and automate Iberian energy-market data workflows, benchmarks, forecasts, asset registers, and AI-enabled tools for Spain and Portugal. Analyze battery storage, renewable energy, and electricity markets; collaborate with engineering and forecasting teams; train an AI analyst; conduct market research; and contribute customer insights through calls and written communication.

Own Modo Energy’s Nordic market coverage across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. Publish research on battery storage revenues, buildout, and market design; automate data ingestion; create asset registers and market benchmarks; and support Nordic forecasting products. The role also involves training an AI analyst, collaborating with engineering and forecasting teams, and serving as the customer-facing market expert for Nordic energy markets.

Provide commercial due diligence and transaction advisory for battery and clean-energy assets. Originate and win US advisory engagements, build financial and revenue models, analyze assumptions and sensitivities, present findings to investors and lenders, and own projects from initial conversation through final presentation. Develop expertise across major US power markets and represent Modo Energy at industry events while helping build its US Advisory Services practice.

Work with power market data to build and deploy BESS revenue modelling features, maintain forecasts and data feeds, coach an AI analyst (Ko), and manage end-to-end product releases for regional customers.

Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for Modo's energy market platform. Own AWS infrastructure with Terraform, implement monitoring, and contribute to LLM-powered features. Collaborate with analysts and data scientists and split time between new features and platform health.

Build and maintain high-performance frontend features in a shared TypeScript/React/Next.js monorepo. Design and implement UI components (MUI), ensure low-latency real-time interfaces, write tests (Jest, Cypress/Playwright), and handle maintenance, performance, and production issues. Collaborate with design and domain experts and occasionally work on backend or infrastructure changes to ship end-to-end features.

Provide commercial due diligence and transaction support for battery storage assets, turning Modo's data into bespoke client reports. Own projects end-to-end, present analysis in person to clients, banks, and investors, and build working knowledge of European battery markets while managing multiple engagements concurrently.

Create content and run acquisition campaigns to drive sign-ups and feature adoption. Analyze funnel metrics, iterate rapidly, and support product marketing for new market launches and product storytelling.

Build Modo's gas analytics function from scratch: create long-term gas forecasts and core datasets (storage, LNG, production), publish client-facing research, present insights to clients, and integrate gas views into regional power and storage models.
