Provide clinical and operational leadership during the day shift, acting as administrative representative for nursing and ancillary staff. Coordinate staffing, admissions/transfers/discharges, respond to clinical emergencies, support patient flow, ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety, mentor staff, complete documentation, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Provides LVN support within Case Management to coordinate discharge planning, referrals to post-acute services, authorization coordination, EMR documentation, patient/family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe timely transitions of care.

Deliver direct, high-quality care to critically ill ICU patients on night shift: assess, monitor vitals and cardiac rhythms, administer medications, respond to emergencies, document in the EMR, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and follow hospital safety and infection prevention protocols.

Provides clinical pharmacy services in an acute care hospital including anticoagulation, pharmacokinetics, antibiotic stewardship, drug dosing consultation, medication order verification, sterile IV supervision, narcotic dispensing, formulary management, drug information, in-services, adverse event review, and quality assurance.
