Support daily financial operations for media programs and donor gift processing: process transactions, validate contracts, compile reporting, assist royalties and year-end revenue sharing, and coordinate with Finance and Development to ensure accurate recording and identify process improvements.

Provide administrative and project support for the Development Department, manage donor records in Tessitura, coordinate donor ticketing and stewardship events, handle planned giving inquiries, maintain donor-facing materials and website content, and support corporate sponsorships and affiliate fundraising logistics.

Conduct prospect research and analysis on individuals, corporations, and foundations to assess philanthropic capacity and interest. Prepare confidential donor profiles, briefings, and research reports; maintain prospect data in Tessitura; monitor news and philanthropic activity; respond to research requests; collaborate with development staff; leverage research databases and AI tools to improve efficiency while protecting data confidentiality.

Manage front-of-house operations for rehearsals, performances, and events, ensuring guest safety and service. Supervise and coach staff, resolve ticketing and operational issues, run pre-show briefings, document incidents and payroll, and coordinate with external partners and emergency services.

The Publicist will pitch stories, develop relationships with media, oversee press releases, and manage the press office at The Metropolitan Opera.

The Safety Coordinator provides safety support during performances, manages safety documentation, conducts inspections, and assists with compliance training.

Lead and improve the Metropolitan Opera's transactional finance functions (Accounts Payable, Payroll, Gift Processing, Media Finance, Business Systems). Oversee finance systems, vendor/payment relationships, revenue tracking, and ERP initiatives. Drive process automation, metrics, and cross-functional partnerships to ensure controls, compliance, and scalable, customer-focused operations.

Support the Electric Department by collecting and entering timesheets, processing payroll data, managing purchase orders and accounts payable, tracking deliveries, maintaining records, answering payroll questions, coordinating new-hire paperwork, and performing general administrative tasks to support lighting/sound/video/automation stage crews.
