Support NASA human spaceflight programs by developing software for spacecraft simulations and integrating with various systems. Requires strong problem-solving skills.

Lead and grow the IT department, manage infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud, endpoints), oversee projects, budgets, policies, ensure security and compliance, and coordinate with leadership and other departments.

Develop, test, and maintain high-fidelity simulation software for NASA programs. Implement features from Git-managed work items, participate in code reviews, contribute to automated testing and CI/CD, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, robust aerospace and robotics simulations.

The role involves engineering and software development for simulation solutions, primarily for NASA and commercial sectors, utilizing various technologies.

Build and manage commercial business pipelines across energy, agriculture, and construction. Develop customer relationships, uncover technical needs, present simulation and software solutions, coordinate with engineers and subject-matter experts, contribute to proposals, attend industry events, maintain existing accounts, and report pipeline forecasts and strategy to leadership.

Develop software for spacecraft simulations, human-computer interfaces, flight computer data interfaces, custom development and integration tools, and environment simulations. The intern will support human spaceflight programs or internal research and development projects while troubleshooting and solving hands-on software problems.

Support development, verification, validation, and certification of flight software for NASA's SR-1 Freedom vehicle across the full SDLC. Requires hands-on debugging, embedded systems design, RTOS and avionics protocol familiarity, and on-site work at Johnson Space Center.

Lead security operations and IT administration across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. Maintain the System Security Plan, support audits (NIST 800-171, ISO 27001), perform log review, vulnerability scanning, access and configuration management, incident response, and manage Microsoft 365, XDR, and Linux systems while documenting configurations and procedures.

The Terramechanics Engineer will develop and apply modeling and simulation for lunar terrain interactions, utilizing physics-based approaches in a collaborative environment.
