The role includes 23 weeks of day coverage plus three weeks of backup coverage annually. Candidates must have internal medicine residency training, board certification or eligibility, strong clinical and communication skills, research familiarity, and New York licensure eligibility.

Provides overnight hospital medicine coverage, including admitting patients, cross-covering inpatients, supervising and teaching housestaff, and participating in quality improvement or research. The role involves 7 PM to 7 AM shifts, approximately 146 shifts annually, including weekends, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
