The Vice President of Operations leads multi-site EMS operations across a regional territory. Responsibilities include operational strategy, budgeting, profit and loss, compliance, quality, safety, staffing, recruiting, vendor relations, marketing, and customer service. The role manages directors and field teams, oversees fleet and other departments, ensures regulatory and clinical documentation compliance, maintains certifications and security standards, and partners with the Regional President on strategic and annual plans. Regular regional travel is required.

Provides emergency and non-emergency medical care, patient monitoring, and transportation to and from medical facilities and event venues. Maintains ambulance and equipment readiness, completes patient documentation, communicates with dispatch and medical control, follows medical protocols and infection-control procedures, and supports patient safety throughout transport. Requires current EMT licensure, CPR certification, applicable specialty certifications, a valid motor vehicle license, and a clean driving record.

Supervise and manage field EMS staff: recruit, hire, schedule, coach, discipline, track payroll, ensure certifications, oversee vehicle/fleet maintenance and supplies, maintain regulatory and HIPAA compliance, assist in training and quality improvement, and act as field team leader in emergency situations.

Provide scheduled and unscheduled non-emergency medical transportation. Assist patients with wheelchair/stretcher transfers, monitor passenger condition per law and company policy, maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and readiness, complete documentation, obtain medical histories and billing information, communicate with dispatch/medical control, and maintain HIPAA and infection-control compliance.

The Training Administrator coordinates employee training programs, manages records, ensures compliance with regulations, and supports ongoing education for staff. Responsibilities include scheduling orientations and training, tracking certifications, and assisting with audits and regulatory requirements.

Instructor-led 10-week EMT-B training including classroom, labs, and clinical rotations (minimum 10 live patient contacts). Students receive tuition, materials, and exam fees; must attend full schedule, pass testing/background/drug screens, and commit to a 24-month full-time EMT position with Medshore following licensure.
