Manage and oversee operations of an ambulance/wheelchair services unit, including staffing, system status management, compliance with EMS regulations, vehicle/facility maintenance oversight, performance evaluation, public and agency relations, budgeting input, and ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Supervise and manage field EMS staff: recruit, hire, schedule, coach, discipline, track payroll, ensure certifications, oversee vehicle/fleet maintenance and supplies, maintain regulatory and HIPAA compliance, assist in training and quality improvement, and act as field team leader in emergency situations.

Provide scheduled and unscheduled non-emergency medical transportation. Assist patients with wheelchair/stretcher transfers, monitor passenger condition per law and company policy, maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and readiness, complete documentation, obtain medical histories and billing information, communicate with dispatch/medical control, and maintain HIPAA and infection-control compliance.
