Provides medical nutrition therapy and personalized meal planning for older adults, develops nutrition education programs, analyzes and ensures menu compliance, supports grant-funded nutrition initiatives, and partners with culinary and program teams. The Dietitian also researches Food is Medicine practices, creates culturally responsive menus, maintains nutrition data, presents educational content, and advises service locations on food preparation and products.

Processes and records charitable contributions, including checks, card gifts, recurring donations, online gifts, and matching gifts. Generates receipts and acknowledgments, maintains donor records, prepares documentation and audit trails, reviews gift accuracy, assists with deposits and reconciliations, and supports year-end fundraising activities. The role also provides administrative support to the Development team while protecting confidential donor and financial information.

Leads fundraising strategy and operations, including annual, major gift, institutional, capital campaign, donor stewardship, grant, and advancement services programs. Manages a portfolio of 25–40 major donors and prospects, oversees development staff, monitors fundraising performance, maintains donor data systems, and collaborates with organizational leaders on campaigns, donor communications, and philanthropic growth.

Leads the organization’s grants program by researching funding opportunities, developing and submitting proposals, managing grant calendars and portfolios, cultivating funder relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating program evaluation, and preparing grant reports. The role also manages grant databases, budgets, documentation, and deadlines while collaborating with internal teams and supporting fundraising goals.

Conduct eligibility and needs assessments for home-delivered meal clients, including in-home and remote visits. Coordinate with clients, case managers, referring partners, contract partners, and staff regarding authorizations and service changes. Develop individual service plans, provide information and referrals, reduce barriers to services, maintain accurate client records, and resolve escalated concerns. Frequent travel across Multnomah, Washington, and Clark Counties is required.

On-call role supporting Meals 4 Kids: prepare, package, and deliver meals; train and schedule volunteers; manage pick-up/drop-off and participant/volunteer records; complete assigned administrative tasks. Requires driving, physical lifting, and occasional evening/weekend work for events.
