Develop and sustain reusable NASA Core Flight System flight software components. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, architecture, coding, unit and integration testing, CI/CD, configuration management, documentation, customer support, hardware integration, and embedded real-time development. The role supports safety- and mission-critical software for NASA and government missions while collaborating with engineering teams and customers.

Develop orbital, terrestrial, electromagnetic, and other models and simulations for U.S. Space Force exercises using SWORD, STK, ODTK, and related tools. Coordinate requirements, identify modeling gaps, support exercise planning and control activities, analyze observations, prepare after-action reports and briefings, and deliver technical training and procedural documentation. The role is on-site at Schriever Space Force Base and requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, IAT Level II certification, a bachelor’s degree, and 10+ years of DoD experience.

Develop, maintain, integrate, test, and document reusable NASA Core Flight System software components. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, architecture, coding, unit and integration testing, CI/CD, configuration management, embedded hardware and RTOS support, customer integration assistance, troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering. The role supports mission-critical flight software throughout the software lifecycle and requires collaboration with NASA, government customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Provides Tier 2 functional help desk support for the FAA’s CASTLE Time and Attendance system. Diagnoses complex issues involving leave, premium pay, labor distribution, telework, and schedules; performs requirements analysis, report development, software testing, user acceptance testing, and validation. The role documents resolutions, recommends corrective actions, supports users and technical teams, participates in project reviews, and ensures compliance with FAA standards, federal regulations, and ISO requirements.

Develops orbital and terrestrial models and simulations for U.S. Space Force exercises using STK, ODTK, SWARM, Paladin, and related tools. Supports scenario development, operational testing, Linux and containerized software operations, exercise planning, and mission events. Analyzes orbital maneuvers, evaluates M&S capabilities, identifies tool gaps, and reports exercise observations. The role requires extensive DoD experience, on-site work at Schriever Space Force Base, limited annual travel, and Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Develops full-stack software tools for operational test and evaluation data collection, conversion, correlation, statistical analysis, and reporting. Designs user interfaces, integrates backend services and databases, modifies existing tools, documents development methods, supports test planning, and presents evaluation results to senior leadership and headquarters. The role is on-site and requires collaboration with government and contractor personnel.

Develop, maintain, and sustain reusable Core Flight System (cFS) flight software components for NASA missions. Perform requirements analysis, design, coding, unit/integration testing, CI/CD, and documentation. Integrate software into customer flight environments, support hardware lab setup and embedded RTOS platforms, resolve defects, participate in reviews, and provide technical/customer support per NASA software engineering standards.

Serve as lead for security of Special Access Program networks: develop A&A packages, perform RMF assessments, conduct vulnerability testing and audit reviews, implement STIGs/patching/scanning, support threat and risk assessments, and produce security documentation and training. Use ACAS, SCAP, XACTA, and eMASS to maintain compliance and reduce vulnerabilities.
