Supports international financial reporting and compliance for subsidiaries, including standalone financial statements, audits, tax payments and filings, monthly close activities, reconciliations, technical accounting, and consolidation. The role also assists the Accounting Manager with analyses and related activities. This is a 12-month temporary contract requiring fluency in French and English.

Processes full-cycle accounts payable for assigned vendors, including invoice coding, approval routing, purchase order matching, discrepancy resolution, vendor account reconciliation, debit processing, and employee expense report auditing. Maintains filing systems, supports special projects, and collaborates with purchasing teams, requisitioners, vendors, and management. Requires accuracy, knowledge of accounting principles, research and problem-solving skills, strong communication, and proficiency with ERP, spend management, travel software, Excel, and Office tools.

Ensures compliance with national and international trade regulations, including import/export laws, sanctions, customs requirements, tariff classification, and documentation. Conducts risk assessments, audits, and monitoring; maintains trade records; develops corrective actions and process improvements; trains employees; and collaborates with logistics, finance, legal, sales, customs authorities, and government agencies.
