Leads and performs assembly of crane products and subassemblies, including hydraulics, air lines, bearings, seals, counterweights, and gaskets. Plans workflow, interprets drawings, inspects parts, uses hand and power tools, performs adjustments and final checks, supports production flow, and follows quality, safety, housekeeping, and documentation requirements. The role also supports cross-training and continuous improvement in a heavy-equipment manufacturing environment.

Designs and improves manufacturing processes using Lean methods to increase safety, quality, throughput, and reduce cost. Troubleshoots equipment, designs work layouts and fixtures, performs 2D/3D modeling and engineering calculations, partners with operations and product teams, and implements continuous improvement across a high-mix heavy-vehicle production facility.

Lead procurement strategy and day-to-day purchasing to support manufacturing. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, optimize inventory, drive cost reduction, mentor a procurement team, and deliver procurement analytics and continuous improvement.

Lead enterprise supply chain for Manitex, driving strategy across sourcing, purchasing, planning, inventory, and logistics for $80M+ spend. Optimize costs, implement ERP/MRP discipline, set KPIs, apply Lean/Kaizen, manage vendor relationships, and build a high-performing team to improve efficiency and execution across manufacturing operations.
