Job Summary
The Manager, Inside Sales, leads the inside sales team to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and account retention. This role is responsible for developing and executing inside sales strategies, managing sales processes, and coaching team members to achieve and exceed sales targets. The Senior Manager collaborates with marketing, field sales, and customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and manage the inside sales team, setting clear performance goals and providing ongoing coaching.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer engagement, and drive account growth.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and team KPIs.
• Collaborate with marketing to generate leads, create campaigns, and optimize sales processes.
• Establish and enforce inside sales best practices, workflows, and CRM usage.
• Support sales forecasting, reporting, and business planning initiatives.
• Work closely with field sales, customer service, and operations to resolve customer issues and ensure high satisfaction.
• Identify training needs and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new inside sales staff.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a management role, preferably in inside sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic, results-driven decisions.

Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally (such as files or office supplies).
• Regular use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment (keyboard, calculator, phone).
• Work performed in a professional office environment with minimal exposure to noise, temperature changes, or other environmental factors.

Skills Required
