Implement and monitor HSE policies, conduct inspections and risk assessments, lead safety briefings, and oversee lifting and work-at-height activities. The role requires extensive HSE experience, safety certifications, lifting and work-at-height expertise, and prior Ras Laffan experience.

Plans and oversees mechanical equipment outage projects, including schedules, resource allocation, site execution, contractor coordination, documentation, QA/QC, HSE compliance, client communication, and cost control. Ensures mechanical and welding work meets applicable standards, client requirements, timelines, budgets, and safety expectations.

Fabricates, cuts, fits, grinds, and assembles steel structures and components. Reads fabrication drawings, blueprints, and measurements; performs accurate marking, cutting, and fit-up; and works with structural steel, pipes, supports, platforms, and equipment. Uses hand tools, power tools, cutting machines, and fabrication equipment while following welding preparation procedures, permit-to-work requirements, job safety analyses, site requirements, and safety procedures.

Performs refractory demolition, installation, repair, relining, and maintenance on EAFs, ladles, tundishes, covers, and related steelmaking equipment. Inspects tools and materials, removes used linings and debris, applies bricks and castables, maintains records, coordinates with production and maintenance teams, and follows safety, environmental, and quality procedures in demanding plant conditions.

Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on rotating and static mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, and drive assemblies. Conduct shaft alignment, equipment installation, component replacement, conveyor belt vulcanizing, welding, fabrication, and shutdown maintenance. Document work, follow plant safety and quality procedures, and operate effectively in demanding industrial environments.

Leads audit engagements independently, planning and executing audits in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements. Prepares audit findings, reports, and recommendations, communicates results to stakeholders, and maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy. The role requires extended hours and Saturday work during busy season.

Sources and procures food supplies for hospitality, facilities, or related projects in Qatar. Manages local and international suppliers, coordinates multiple vendors, negotiates purchasing terms, and maintains strong supplier-network knowledge. Immediate availability is required.

Fabricates, repairs, fits, cuts, grinds, drills, and assembles marine structural components including frames, platforms, brackets, handrails, and deck structures. Reads fabrication drawings and welding symbols, takes accurate measurements, uses fabrication tools safely, coordinates with welders and marine crews, and follows permit-to-work, hot work, housekeeping, and HSE requirements.

Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs marine deck machinery, including winches, capstans, pumps, hydraulic systems, and deck cranes. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, identifies faults, replaces defective parts, supports equipment testing, and maintains tools, spare parts, and records. Follows permit-to-work, lockout/tagout, housekeeping, and marine HSE procedures across vessels, barges, shipyards, ports, and marine facilities.

Supervise marine QC inspection activities across fabrication, welding, structural, and piping work. Ensure compliance with ITPs, drawings, specifications, WPS/PQR, and project quality requirements. Monitor welding, fit-up, NDT, dimensional, and final inspections; review quality records, NCRs, punch lists, and test documentation; coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, supervisors, and project teams; and ensure timely correction and closure of quality issues.

Receive, inspect, record, store, and issue marine materials, tools, spare parts, and consumables. Maintain inventory records, stock documentation, labeling, preservation, and segregation procedures. Monitor stock levels, report shortages or damage, coordinate with marine, maintenance, procurement, and logistics teams, and maintain warehouse housekeeping while following marine health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Troubleshoot complex network issues across multi-product, multi-protocol, and hybrid environments. Design, implement, and support routing and switching technologies, use traffic-generation and analysis tools, automate networking tasks with scripting, and support cloud networking across Azure and AWS.

Manages electrical Permit to Work activities on industrial projects, ensuring compliance with approved permits, JSAs, risk assessments, method statements, and electrical safety procedures. Coordinates with Operations, Electrical, Maintenance, HSE, and permit-issuing teams. Oversees LOTO, isolation, de-isolation, and safe execution of work involving electrical equipment, cables, panels, switchgear, and field activities.

Coordinates and controls mechanical Permit to Work activities, ensuring compliance with LOTO, isolation, de-isolation, JSAs, risk assessments, method statements, and mechanical safety procedures. Works with Operations, Mechanical, Maintenance, and HSE teams on industrial or oil and gas projects involving pumps, valves, compressors, piping, and other equipment. Oversees hot work, cold work, confined space, and line-breaking activities.

Conduct site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations. Monitor compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work procedures, job safety analyses, risk assessments, PPE requirements, and safe work practices. Identify hazards, implement control measures, prepare HSE reports, and coordinate safety activities with supervisors, engineers, workers, and HSE management across industrial, oil and gas, or construction projects.

Supervise mechanical installation, maintenance, repairs, and shutdown activities for industrial projects. Coordinate engineers, technicians, operations, and HSE teams while ensuring compliance with PTW, LOTO, JSA, risk assessments, and safety procedures. Monitor manpower, progress, quality, and site activities; interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications; and troubleshoot pumps, valves, compressors, piping, and other mechanical equipment.

Responsible for managing instrumentation and control permit-to-work activities, including isolation and de-isolation, LOTO compliance, safe work practices, and coordination with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and permit-issuing teams. Ensures work complies with approved permits, JSAs, risk assessments, method statements, safety procedures, and site requirements. Oil and gas or industrial project experience is preferred.
