Looking for a spirited candidate to join LUZCO Technologies, LLC as a Project Manager. Minimum 2 years of relevant project management experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering required. This is a hybrid position with travel required.

Coordinate with electrical utilities to design and upgrade transmission and distribution lines, perform field surveys, mentor less experienced engineers, and drive internal and external engineering meetings.

The Director of Substation Engineering is responsible for overseeing substation design, personnel mentorship, and business development. They will lead the substation department and ensure client satisfaction and department growth.

The Substation Lead Engineer will be responsible for project scoping, proposal preparation, and substation design. They will provide technical support and create engineering estimates for new installations or modifications to existing substations. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the utility industry.

The Substation Lead Engineer will be responsible for project scoping, proposal preparation, technical support, engineering design, and QA/QC checking for substation projects. They will also be involved in substation P&C design and physical design, as well as the specifications of substation equipment and ground grid design.

The Substation Lead Engineer - Physical Design will be responsible for project scoping, design estimate and proposal preparation, technical support, and coordination with clients in the utility industry. The role requires a strong background in substation design, including ground grid, bus, and raceway designs.

Support the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, and construction, commissioning. Lead project documentation, Project Change Requests, risk analysis, purchase orders, and closing activities. Support project implementation including project budget and the project resources including external vendors and contractors. Support project team and the project management process. Responsible for metrics tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate and business function procedures during all the phases of the project. Assist in development of, or revision to, function-specific project management policies, procedures, and implementation.

**Essential Responsibilities:** Project scoping and site walkdowns. Project design estimate and proposal preparation. Working with client on Business Development. Occasional QA/QC checking of design packages with one-lines, Conduit Schedules, BOM, Layouts, relay panel arrangements, Existing Steel drawings, and cable lists for high voltage (32.4-500kV) substations. Technical support on Substation P&C and Physical design answering questions of Junior engineers. Substation packages includes but not limited to BKR upgrades, Bus protection, Transformer Replacement and Protection, RTU Upgrades, Line and Bus work, Fiber Upgrades, Feeder Breaker Replacement etc. Prepare/create engineering and construction estimate documents for the installation of new, or modifications to existing substations, including: bill of materials, yard layouts, plans and section views, and electrical details. Good understanding of substation ground grid, rigid and strain bus, and raceway designs. Good understanding for creation/modify technical specifications for major substation equipment, such as: power transformers, power circuit breakers and control house. Answer questions of engineering, construction, testing and commissioning support of projects. Perform basic calculations, such as: voltage drop, CT burden and saturation, lighting and short circuit. Travel to various substations part of this job.
