Performs systematic audits of hospital referral and death records to ensure documentation accuracy, CMS compliance, and timely referrals. Communicates with hospitals, documents findings in LOPA systems, audits ventilator referrals, completes eQMS/LMS tasks, and identifies quality improvement opportunities.

Develops and implements hospital-specific donation education and quality improvement programs, monitors KPIs, conducts chart and death record reviews, provides onsite referral response, builds hospital relationships, delivers presentations, and maintains documentation in electronic databases to improve organ, tissue, and eye donation outcomes.

Lead and manage organ placement and utilization operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing allocation and recovery logistics, supervising staff, building transplant center relationships, driving quality improvement, and supporting strategic initiatives to maximize organ utilization.

Lead HR strategy and operations including payroll, compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, compliance, and HR systems. Oversee Administrative Services and Hospitality, advise executive leadership, support culture, change management, safety, and multi-state regulatory compliance.

Respond to and evaluate potential organ donors onsite and remotely, perform chart reviews, communicate with hospital teams, educate staff on referral criteria, access donor registry, support donor families during ceremonies and OR events, maintain EMR access and complete required trainings. Travel regionally and adhere to LOPA policies.

Manage and optimize benefits, retirement, and leave programs; partner with brokers and vendors; ensure HRIS/payroll alignment; maintain compliance (ACA, FMLA, COBRA, ERISA); lead open enrollment and retirements; handle leave cases; and provide clear employee guidance and communications.
