Guides newly hired production employees through a structured two-week training period. Delivers hands-on instruction, coaching, assessments, and documentation for production roles while reinforcing safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, quality, and performance standards. Evaluates employee readiness, communicates progress to leadership and HR, coordinates shift handoffs, supports bilingual English-Spanish training, and recommends improvements to training materials and onboarding processes.

Provide administrative and operational support to the finance team: assist month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting support, reporting, inventory and AP coordination, maintain finance documentation and data room, administer T&E reimbursements, coordinate meetings/travel, and support process improvements and ad hoc finance projects.

Support production and shipping by verifying, labeling, wrapping, and inventorying finished pallets; track and print pallet and case labels; monitor raw material inventory; coordinate material movement to prevent downtime; follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.

Perform routine FSQA checks across production, packaging, and warehousing including HACCP, GMP, label, sanitation, net weight, and package integrity checks; maintain records, assist training, support audits, and report to Compliance Director/FSQA Manager.

Support and run greenhouse R&D trials: design experiments, collect and analyze data, write reports and SOPs, collaborate cross-functionally, and apply CEA literature to optimize processes.

Perform hands-on maintenance and cleaning of greenhouse systems and equipment, including pipe painting, mechanical drive inspection, fogging nozzle and light fixture cleaning, gutter and dripper maintenance, window washing, minor gutter repairs, roof chalking, and assisting with insect netting when trained. Work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to changing throughput needs.

Lead facility production, safety, quality, and maintenance to optimize crop yields and operational performance. Own budgeting, reporting, process improvement, SOP enforcement, team development, and emergency response while ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance.

Oversee weighing, packaging, labeling and palletizing of leafy greens to meet customer specs. Manage line flow, operate Ishida scales and packaging equipment, train and supervise staff, troubleshoot equipment, maintain sanitation per GMP/HACCP, record production data, and ensure product quality and safety.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC/HMI/SCADA and related control systems for greenhouse and packhouse operations. Program PLCs, perform root cause analysis, document systems, support upgrades and capital projects, train technicians, participate in on-call rotation, and ensure safety and food quality compliance.

Lead greenhouse operations including climate and water management, fertilization, pest monitoring, crop health and yield forecasting. Supervise, train, hire, and evaluate staff; manage supplies, expenses, and meetings; participate in food safety and production alignment. Serve on-call one week per month.
