Catalog and maintain bibliographic records for foreign-language and English materials in an ILS using MARC21 and library standards. Classify serials and monographs, recommend headings/classifications, and keep records aligned with NACO/BIBCO practices while staying current with cataloging standards.

Perform original and copy cataloging (descriptive, subject, authority work) for print and electronic materials using RDA/MARC/LCSH. Configure and troubleshoot e-resources in the ILS, maintain metadata quality and holdings, contribute to NACO, produce cataloging statistics, support e-resource workflows, and maintain data analytics dashboards for library operations.

Generate new business through face-to-face prospecting and presentations, build and maintain regional account plans, manage CRM activity, coordinate with marketing and sales teams, pursue opportunities, attend trade shows, and meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets while supporting municipal government clients.

Manage and improve digital library systems, metadata workflows, and data integrations. Validate APIs, enhance UX and accessibility, develop reporting and automation, and produce documentation and training to support discoverability and interoperability of research outputs.

Perform original and copy cataloging and metadata creation in Ex Libris Alma and OCLC Connexion; edit records to RDA/MARC21 standards; assign LCSH and authority headings; create and update holdings, item records, and serial patterns; maintain metrics and provide reference support for digital collections.

On-site role digitizing photographic archives using overhead camera systems and copystand workflows. Tasks include equipment calibration, high-resolution imaging, Photoshop post-processing, TIFF preservation file production, metadata creation and transcription, asset organization, quality control, and coordination with Smithsonian staff to meet production schedules.

Lead and manage library technical services project: supervise staff, oversee accessioning, inventory, bibliographic record maintenance, ensure quality control, compliance, SOPs, and liaise with federal personnel to optimize workflows and reporting.

Provide daily library operations support including metadata editing, physical item processing and shelving, interlibrary loan services, patron circulation and reference assistance, screening reference queries, and supporting outreach events.

Provide expert guidance and operational support for journal evaluation, indexing (AGRICOLA/Alma), open access compliance, research impact indicators, training, analytics reporting, and stakeholder coordination to advance research integrity and public access.

Perform original and copy cataloging of monographs and serials (primarily U.S. federal publications) using OCLC Connexion and MARC21/RDA/AACR2 standards; update bibliographic records, assign LCSH and authorized headings, manage holdings and serial patterns, research name authorities, and maintain metrics and activity reports.

Support receipt, cataloging, evaluation, consolidation, disposition, metadata creation/maintenance, shelving, and physical management of archival holdings (paper, media, tapes, film). Inventory records, prepare transfers, confirm analog-digital matches, coordinate with agency for metadata and publication linkage, and ensure archive security during emergencies.

Perform advanced conservation and stabilization of rare books, manuscripts, and paper-based materials using AIC standards; repair bindings and covers; design custom housings; prepare materials for digitization and loans; document condition and treatments with photography and NLM systems; conduct preservation assessments, disaster response, and mold remediation; maintain lab equipment and supplies; support training, outreach, and required contract reporting.

Manage day-to-day contract operations for records management and information services, supervise contractor personnel, ensure contract compliance and quality control, coordinate onboarding and transitions, prepare reports and schedules, support facility/security requirements, and provide on-site technical and AV support while liaising with agency leadership and the COR.

Provide advanced library and research services for a federal scientific environment: perform complex literature searches, bibliometric and publication analyses, develop research deliverables, support institutional repository and metadata tasks, deliver training and outreach, and improve information services.

Digitize photographic negatives, slides, and transparencies using overhead camera systems; perform image post-processing, create preservation-quality TIFFs, generate metadata and maintain digital assets, production statistics, and quality control while following archival handling and security protocols.

Provide reference and research services to NOAA staff: conduct complex literature searches, perform bibliometrics, develop literature reviews and research guides, deliver training and outreach, support interlibrary loan and collection development, track service metrics, and ensure Section 508 and NOAA standards compliance.

On-site role preparing and processing serials for binding: pull titles, prepare shipments, generate digital bindery tickets, perform quality reviews, and create/update bibliographic and holding records in the ILS. Requires independent, detail-oriented work handling physical materials.

Manage and cultivate federal client relationships in the DC area, oversee multiple contract projects and on-site staff, handle recruiting/onboarding and security vetting support, monitor performance and costs, liaise with corporate functions, and pursue contract growth and business development opportunities. Hybrid role with regular client site visits.

Provide specialized biomedical reference and research services, perform advanced literature searches, deliver instruction on databases and citation tools, support systematic reviews, develop outreach and instructional materials, assist with collection maintenance and reporting, and collaborate with library and research stakeholders in a federal biomedical research environment.

Provide advanced biomedical literature searching, reference consultations, bibliometric and research impact analyses, data visualization, publication support, training, and research data management guidance to scientists in a federal research library. Develop reports, dashboards, instructional materials, and support collection development and scholarly communications.
