Provide and coordinate inpatient nursing care during shifts: supervise CNAs and unit staff, assess and monitor patients, administer medications, assist physicians, ensure safety/infection control, participate in staff education and reporting, and serve as liaison between departments.

Perform diagnostic radiographic and mobile fluoroscopic exams per physician orders and radiologist direction. Maintain equipment, supplies, radiation safety, infection control, and patient positioning. Document care, assist surgical team with mobile fluoroscopy, and comply with federal, state, and professional standards.

Provide pre-admission testing, preoperative assessment, and post-anesthesia care. Perform vitals, IV initiation, EKGs, blood draws, medication administration, monitor recovery, document findings, educate patients/families, manage postoperative emergencies, and prepare/clean PACU space according to individualized care plans and surgical requirements.

Contact patients to schedule surgeries and maintain surgery calendars. Verify insurance, consents, pre-op clearances and labs; perform pre-op calls; coordinate with facilities and billing to minimize cancellations and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

Prepares and positions patients, operates and maintains radiology equipment, practices radiation safety and infection control, documents care, manages supplies, and supports surgical teams while complying with regulatory standards.

Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care as the operating room circulator: assess patients, assist surgeons, maintain aseptic technique, administer medications, monitor vitals and equipment, handle specimens and counts, document care, respond to emergencies, and mentor staff.

The RN PreOp PACU PAT nurse is responsible for pre-operative patient assessments, administering anesthesia care, and post-operative monitoring, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical process.

The Operating Room Circulator Nurse provides care during surgical procedures, ensures patient safety, maintains aseptic techniques, and coordinates all aspects of patient care pre- and post-operatively.
