Provides perioperative nursing care as the OR circulator: assesses, plans, and documents patient care before, during, and after surgery; maintains sterility and equipment; administers meds; assists surgeons; manages specimens; inventories supplies; responds to emergencies; mentors staff.

Manage daily perioperative operations including OR, PACU, and pre-op areas. Ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate patient flow, supervise and develop nursing staff, manage budgets/materials, approve schedules/timecards, serve as clinical resource, and provide direct patient care as needed.

Provide pre-admission testing, preoperative assessment, and post-anesthesia care. Perform patient histories, vitals, IV starts, EKGs, blood draws, medication administration, monitoring, documentation, patient/family education, wound care, transfusions, and emergency interventions. Coordinate consents and readiness for surgery and determine safe transfer to inpatient units.
