Administer and troubleshoot VMware Cloud Foundation environments supporting a DoD missile defense test environment. Responsibilities include configuring vSphere, NSX, and vSAN; deploying virtual machines; patching, upgrading, monitoring, backing up, and restoring systems; remediating vulnerabilities; conducting root-cause analysis; reviewing audit logs; documenting changes; and advising government customers on optimization. The role requires collaboration with network and cybersecurity teams, independent work, customer briefings, and occasional off-shift or weekend support.

Support cyber operations for Missile Defense systems: monitor systems for STIG/patching compliance, review logs for anomalies, run vulnerability scans, assist audits and security tooling, maintain documentation, recommend mitigations, escalate complex issues, and support cyber policy implementation.

Design, configure, install, test, and maintain enterprise networks and boundary protection for MDA. Create detailed designs, implementation and test plans, produce DoDAF artifacts, remediate STIG findings, and troubleshoot Cisco, Riverbed, and Broadcom systems.

Design and manage enterprise data architecture and strategy; create conceptual, logical, and physical data models; integrate systems; implement security and governance; plan and execute large-scale data solutions; manage data lifecycle and platform selection; collaborate cross-functionally.

Support senior engineers in designing, configuring, installing, testing, and troubleshooting MDA enterprise networks. Develop and document network designs, implementation and test plans, produce system/connectivity drawings and DoDAF documentation, and remediate STIG vulnerabilities. Work hands-on with Cisco, Riverbed, and Broadcom equipment and common routing, switching, and security protocols.

Operate a 24/7 Global Network Operations and Security Center: monitor network, systems and cloud environments; perform incident management and escalation; coordinate change management during rotating shifts; support MDA cybersecurity, O&M metrics, and communicate status to executive management and the government customer.

Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-native DevSecOps solutions on Kubernetes, AKS, ECS, and OpenShift. Lead migrations using IaC (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Bash), enforce DoD container hardening and compliance, manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud databases, troubleshoot integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.

Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-native DevSecOps solutions on Kubernetes (AKS, ECS, OpenShift). Lead system integration, IaC (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Bash), container hardening to DoD standards, CI/CD automation, database deployments (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MySQL), documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder reporting for government customers.
